Creativity? Express your true self through art!

Being creative means being free to express your inner desire, inner thoughts, inner feelings or your true self through certain type of art (by art I mean anything human being is capable of creating).

For example, when one makes a cake and adds its own twist to it and decorates it the way he or she feels at that moment, that makes one creative. Some find creativity flowing through their hands – anything created by hands, some find creativity flowing through their bodies – i.e. dancers, while some realize their creativity through words – writers.

Everybody is creative in his or her own way, although one does not always realize his/her potential for creativity which is unfortunate. The relief from stress or misfortunes in life can be found through one’s creativity. So, be creative and be original in your creations!

Creativity? Letting your inner person out!

To me being creative means that I can let my inner person out. In the real world I may be hesitant to do a certain thing or experience a certain feeling. But being creative I can let the characters do the certain thing or experience the feeling that I might be too scared to do.

Being creative is living two different lives, one you can control and the other you have to go with the flow.

Creativity? “I am 99% creativity and 1% logic”

I started ballet at the age of four, for thirteen years I passionately wanted to become a ballerina and choreographer, after a knee injury my life turned in different direction though. Took me way off the path but found other arts – painting, interior design, writing, ballroom dance, acting, organic works, and more…What I have always told people was, “I am 99% creativity and 1% logic” When younger I had great difficulty “fitting in” to this world. I took jobs I didn’t want just to survive and “Society” kept telling me I was wrong and could never make a living in the arts, my mistake was I listened. It hurt deep within for years until I discovered my inner strength to live my life from my heart and no one elses. I have struggled financially but I honor my self and am creating not only art but a lifestyle I love with freedom, spirituality, trusting the Universe and an abundance of love in my heart expressing out and others gifting me with theirs. The arts in all their diverse forms is the drive from within that not only keeps me alive, but I cannot not do it!!!

Creativity? Working with attention, passion and diligence

NEW is the operative word for sure. Many are enamored by the idea of a special gift. I think the challenge is in not even accepting that “gift” but moving on to make create new gifts if you will. I get upset when people say I am gifted in one thing or the another. It all comes from working with attention, passion and diligence. If the implication is that one is born that way, it must have been acquired the same hard way from the past.

The power of human brain is truly unlimited. For the time we exist, it is really unlimited. That is we know that we can learn till we die and there is still unlimited capacity left.

All assumptions must be questioned. This will make “religious” people a bit unhappy, I know. Creative work inside a temple, mosque or church is always within constraints. I often wonder  about societies that are under the tight constraints of extreme religious ideologies. Ironically many of them are not on the forefront of technology .. except perhaps war !

OLD or ANCIENT seems to be their operative words for them.

Creativity? Living and thinking outside the box

For me creative means when I have a situation (I never say problem) I focus on the SOLUTION.

Creative is thinking outside the box. I live outside the box because their is a lot more going on out than in! In every area of my life CREATIVITY is implemented on a daily basis whether I ask someone for sponsorship money for a charity event I have to be creative because I want them to see value and return for what they are giving, When Modeling the creative outside the box thinking kicks in for me to get the money shot, And which my children the most important CREATIVE thinking is to get down on their level and tell them “ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST” your ACTIONS good or bad do not make you good or bad, You are the actor and you choose how you act. Your ACTIONS do not define us.

I look everywhere for creative inspiration whether it be a negative SITUATION or a POSITIVE one.
I am the CREATOR of my own CREATIVITY and its never ending because LIFE is full of it!

Creativity? For me it’s being a creature in the world…

For me it’s being a creature in the world, when you know you have existed for what is truly within your heart. When you step back, you know you’ve made yourself manifest in the world through your creation. It’s not an option, it’s the only way to truly live.
